With its study programs at the intersection of political science and technology, the HfP stands out among the political science programs of other universities – and according to the latest survey, it also convinces the students. For the second time in a row, they give top marks to the bachelor's program at the HfP in Germany’s largest university ranking. Evaluation criteria included the range of courses, study organization, support from teachers, as well as facilities and equipment on site.

"The fact that the degree program at the HfP once again receives top ratings from students shows: Our interdisciplinary approach, oriented towards the societal challenges of our time, is popular," says Prof. Urs Gasser, Rector of the Hochschule für Politik München (Munich School of Politics and Public Policy) at the Technical University of Munich. As the application phase for degree programs is currently open, he adds: "The very high satisfaction of the students is another strong argument for studying at HfP."

In 2016, after being taken over by the Technical University of Munich, the HfP repositioned itself and currently offers the Bachelor's program in Political Science as well as the Master's program in Politics & Technology. Both programs are interdisciplinary and practice-oriented, designed to train students with a focus on future topics such as Data & Society, Political Economy, Sustainability, and Governance. Prospective students can currently apply for the HfP study programs.

The CHE University Ranking, which is exclusively published in the ZEIT Study Guide and on HeyStudium by ZEIT ONLINE, has been the most comprehensive and detailed university comparison in the German-speaking area for more than 25 years, with around 120,000 surveyed students. The ranking includes evaluations by students on the study conditions at their university as well as facts about studies, teaching, and research for more than 10,000 degree programs at German universities."
