Enrolment/Admission

Normally, new students may only enrol for the winter semester. However, students who are or have already been matriculated at other universities or in related studies and have credits from their former courses of study may apply informally for admission in the summer semester.
For students with a general matriculation-level qualification, the enrolment takes place in the period between the second half of September and the first half of October. Students without such a qualification must pass an entrance examination, held in October.

Students at the Munich School for Political Science are not subject to admission restrictions such as “numerus clausus” or special tests.

The registration fee for each semester is 292 Euro. It consists of the following:

  • Euro 200 study fee
  • Euro 50 administration fee
  • Euro 42 contribution fee to the Student Union
